About Me

My name is Tom Auger and I’m an MSc student in Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh.

I’m focusing on the intersection between computer security and AI: how AI techniques can help with existing computer security problems as well as investigating security vulnerabilities in AI methods themselves.

From 2018-2020 I was a software engineer at Mathworks, Cambridge where I worked on the Build Process within the Simulink Code Generation group.

From 2015-2018 I was a software developer at Gas Management Services Ltd, Cambridge where I built an AS4 communications system and developed apps for managing gas portfolios.

In 2015 I received my bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
